Cindy Haskell, President
Cindy and her husband, Ed, moved to Crested Butte from Arizona two years ago, following their son, a student at Western State College. In Arizona, Cindy was a museum curator for many years and part owner of a computer software business with her husband. Cindy and Ed, previously part-time residents, have been involved as Festival volunteers for many years.
Pat Del Tredici, Vice President
Pat is a retired Teacher who moved to Crested Butte full time from Rhode Island in 2005. Hiking is her favorite pastime, followed closely by XC skiing, showshoeing, ice skating and gardening. Learning about wildflowers is her ongoing passion.
Maura Bailey, Secretary
Maura was present at the original organizational meeting for the Wildflower Festival in 1986 and was part of the group applying for 501c3 status. She has been active on the Board, serving as President and Treasurer and she is a co-founder of the The Mountain Garden at Mt. Crested Butte.
Kate Vogel, Treasurer
Kate is recently retired as Professor of Biology at The University of New Mexico. After 30+ years as an animal cell biologist she is discovering the amazing world of plants and writing children's stories with plants as major characters.
Susan Robinson
At the request of her daughter & granddaughter she moved here 2 1/2 yrs ago from Mammoth Lakes, CA. She and her daughter own "beyond" a clothing boutique on Elk Avenue in the heart of Crested Butte.
When she is not working in the store she loves having fun with her
granddaughter, gardening, skiing, hiking and traveling with her golden retriever.
Krista Hildebrandt
Krista Hildebrandt owns and operates the Alpengardener, a gardening service and store. She has led workshops during the Festival teaching how to garden here in Crested Butte. In the winter, she is on the ski mountain in her demanding role as ski patroller.
Anita King
After a lifetime of living and working in NYC Anita retired to Crested Butte in 2003 and knows that was a great decision. One of the rewards has been helping with the Wildflower Festival.
